The Apprentice Spell HUD

Introduction

Apprentice is a mighty Spell HUD formerly known as "Wishmaster Version 1" refreshed and relaunched by popular demand. Featuring 20+ spells and networked sensor system, its a sure fire (and cost effective) way to impress friends or make a statement to your enemies! This was the first all-inclusive Spell HUD available in Second Life and the most advanced of its class. Now it is the Apprentice (classic) incarnation of "Wishmaster v3", relaunched to serve as the perfect entry-level spell-casting system.


Features

Navigating the HUD

  • Click on the paper of the scroll to Open/Close it.
  • Click on a spell name to invoke the drop-down menu, then choose your target to cast the spell.
  • Click on the ARROWS to flip back and forth through the pages.
  • Click on TP To Camera to warp your avatar to camera position.


Spells

{info} ALL SPELLS can be cast using commands, or via the Hud Buttons. Default chat channel is 9. You can change this channel by typing /9 channel = #


{primary} Ending Spells is done by either Clicking the HUD Button again, or by typing /9 end SPELLNAME

Conveyance

  • Send Home - Teleports the target avatar to their home location.
  • Eject - Ejects the target from the parcel/land.
  • Portal - Click on Portal to invoke a menu of targets, select a Target to open a break in space/time to take you directly to your target.
  • Hide - Cloaks the caster by melting them into the ground below.
  • Reveal - Conjures a magical arrow that points the way to your target.

Arcane

  • Aura - An irridescient mist rises up around the caster.
  • Bless - Cast Bless upon yourself or a friend to cure them of any curses, hexes, and other ailments.
  • Candle - Summons a floating candle that hovers in orbit around the sorcerer, providing him a radiant glow of candle light.
  • Kiss - A floating pair of lips plants a big wet one on your target.
  • Light - A magical orb rises from the plane of Luminescence and provides the caster with clear radius of light.
  • Love - An aura of love surrounds the bodies of the caster and the target.
  • Rose - Magically conjures and delivers a wearable rose to the target.
  • Sense - Allows the sorcerer to listen in on private channels to discover any hidden intentions.

Eldrich

  • Meteor Storm - he sorcerer calls age-old meteors from the center of the universe to rain down the immediate area, causing extensive damage and craters to the ground and crashing rocks into anyone in the spell area.
  • Bombardment - Summoning orbs from the realm of Fire, these powerful energy-constructs will crash into the ground surrounding your target causing forceful mini-explosions.
  • Explosion - Perhaps the most destructive spell in your arsenal, the Sorcerer conjures an orb of Hellfire, generating a bright orange glow that will explode to gigantic proportions upon crashing into the target, sending everyone unfortunate enough to be in the blast radius, flying into the clouds. Fire, Death, and Destruction shall rain down upon ground zero.
  • Energy Ball - The caster uses magic from the plane of Thunder to cause a huge explosion near the target - sending everyone forcefully away from the blast.
  • Vanquish - A Holy power that should only be used for emergencies. The Caster emits a column of light from their hand, which signals the Heavens to remove the troublemaker in an epic white light.

Curses

  • Dwarf - This curse transfigures the target into a Dwarf. Their height is cut in half.
  • Paralyze - A beam of bright purplish light flies out the casters hand and petrifies the muscles of the target, preventing them from moving.
  • Gravity - A curse capable of bringing down skyscrapers. This spell will force your target out of the sky and into the ground. If on a sky platform, this will force them down to the ground of the realm. If they are already on the ground, well, your new victim has just been crushed into the ground by pressuring gravity.
  • Tree Hex - A living curse springs to life from your hand, floats up and stares at your target, then suddenly turns them into a tree.
  • Binding - A Necromantic curse that curses the user to the ground with ancient glyphs and runes. Demonic stakes will nail the curse to the ground futher, preventing your target from moving.
  • Plague - - This hex will summon a swarm of arcane insects that buzz around the target and bite them, until the target is dead. (Death only occurs in Health Enabled zones.)

Elemental

Fire

{primary} Fire can melt ice and also cause air to become superheated.
Try using Flame on a frozen target OR on someone who is casting Cyclone.

  • Flame - The sorcerer calls upon the realm of fire to unleash a stream of heat upon the world. A magical flamethrower capable of igniting anything it touches. *Fire can also melt Ice, and Superheat air.
  • Fire Fury - rcane Orbs of Fire are invoked, appearing around the caster, dancing in a swirl of flames until launched by the caster. Hold Down left mouse button to charge. *Fire can also melt Ice, and Superheat air.

Ice

{primary} ICE can put out fire, as well as freeze water solid and freeze objects/people.

  • Ice Spear- Chilling magic rises up from the casters feet, swirling up unto the hand, upon which invoking a frigid Ice-Spear capable of being launched into anything at high speeds. To Cast: Hold down left mouse button to charge and conjure the ice spear. Release to fire.

  • Freeze - A icy-beam capable of summoning ice unto whatever it touches. Works great for freezing paths across water, solidifying objects, and putting out fires.

    Hold down left-mouse button to fire.      

Electricity

  • Shock - Powerful Charmed-Like lightning bolt flees from the caster's hands, allowing them to pick up and throw a target.

    Can be used in Mouselook. 
    Hold left mouse-button and stand facing targe.      
    Release mousebutton to launch target.
  • Bolt - A powerful spark of eletricity, capable of forcing everyone aside in a crowded area. Hold down left mouse-button to charge, release when electricity turns red, or for a lesser effect, release before RED. Will push aside anyone it comes close to.

Wind

  • Cyclone - he mage calls upon the magic if Fujin, Lord of the Winds. Allowing him to transfigure into a Cyclone and force aside anyone he touches. *Beware, if you come into contact with Fire as a cyclone, your wind will become superheated.
    Hold down left-mouse button, release to turn back into human form.

  • Gust - An ancient air spell that concentrates the surrounding air into one forceful gust, flowing from the casters hands. Anyone in the air-path will be pushed away forcefully.

Weather

  • Thunderstorm - With a wisp of the hand, the mage discharges the atmosphere, invoking a large thunderstorm, with heavy rain, and random lightning strikes.

  • Blizzard - Clutch the power of Frost in your hands, this spell summons a very powerful blizzard, capable of freezing solid air into Crystals.

  • Jetstream - his grandfather of Air conjures forth a devastating river of air that forces itself upon the target, pushing them through solid objects until the spell ends. A brilliant forceful shove.

  • Tornado - The Sorcerer calls forth destruction when invoking this monstrous tornado down upon a target. It will move about on its own, picking up and throwing people around as it comes across them.

Charms

  • Protection - This ancient arcane invokation will surround the User or a Target with a protective barrier. Projectiles, bullets, enemy weapons cannot breach the protection of this powerful shield. Each bullet is intercepted by magic and thus hurled back torward the target, or discharged into the air. ENDED by holding down Protection Button.

  • Astral Projection - This almighty power sends the user into a meditative trance. Allowing him to unleash his soul upon the world, Wherever the user's camera goes, the Soul will follow. The Soul allows you to Talk back and forth with anyone your camera is near, even when the mage is on the other side of the sim.
    Ended by clicking astral projection button again.

  • Telepathy - Allows the caster to hear conversations and thoughts from anywhere.

  • Rapture - An Epic power, the Sorcerer prays for the removal of his foes by asking the Heavens to open up and remove the Target - sucking him up into the sky, where he shall remain for eternity.

  • Push- These sister spells will allow the mage to lift the target and push them across the realms with great force, or wisk them to your location at will.

  • Pull - These sister spells will allow the mage to lift the target and push them across the realms with great force, or wisk them to your location at will.

  • Levitate - A nifty charm that allows the sorcerer to lift the target into the air, allowing the target to follow you wherever you go. The mage can also move the target around in the air, and they will continue to hover beside you wherever you go. And should you stand still for a few seconds, the levitated one will start to slowly rotate around the mage.
