Get started
- Find the Gatekeeper HUD in your inventory.
- Right-click it and choose Add.

Portals to other regions close after 30 seconds. If the region name is wrong, Gatekeeper tells you that it does not exist.
Marks: save places and come back
A mark is a saved place with a name you choose. You can save as many as you like, in any region.
/5 mark home/5 recall home/5 marklist/5 delmark home| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
/5 mark <name> |
Saves where you are standing, under that name. Using a name again updates it. |
/5 recall <name> |
Opens a portal to that mark. In another region, it works like a region portal (see above). |
/5 marklist |
Lists all your marks in local chat. |
/5 delmark <name> |
Deletes a mark. |
Marks are kept inside the HUD
Your marks stay when you take the HUD off and put it back on. They are lost if the HUD's scripts reset, or if the HUD is given to someone else.
Close portals
Click Close Portals on the HUD. It closes every portal you have opened in the region you are in. Portals in other regions are not affected.
All commands
Commands go on channel /5. Only the HUD's owner can use them.

How many places can I mark?
As many as you like. Each mark needs its own name.
Can other people use my portals?
Yes. Anyone can step through a portal you open.
A portal does not appear.
Portals are objects, so the land must allow you to rez objects. Try a sandbox, or land where you can build.
The region portal opened the map. Is that right?
Yes. Gatekeeper sends you to other regions through the Second Life map. Click Teleport on the map.
My marks are gone.
The HUD's scripts were reset, so the saved marks were cleared. Mark your places again.
The camera portal says "Lacking valid permissions".
Click the button again. If it keeps happening, detach the HUD and wear it again.
